Majestic Dream

The pleasure & plunder
You’re wondering under
Which sky do we stay ?
We rot & decay
Bodies grow older
I’m only a soldier
Who fights for you, pray?
Its subtle you’re settled
This life is all
We’ll ever see
Even if belief
Comes not to you
You try to not try
Escape & Elude
Respect is denied
Yet you who are you ?
Within this one fight
Your soul sticks like glue

This is my Majestic dream
Paradise is not a scheme
Religion is my sole belief
The thing that gives me most relief
Not for scoundrels to make money from
Nor Politicians to win elections
The armor that shields me
Makes me immortal
Saves my heart from
All the poison

You don’t even feel its there
Your eyes all they see
Material despair
Your nose surely smells
The stench of those lies
Religion is not what you have in mind
The rules they play by are too hard
So deny
They ever existed
Erase from your mind
The very notion that made you define
But that’s only you
To me its too cruel

This is my Majestic dream
Paradise is not a scheme
Religion is my sole belief
The thing that gives me most relief
Not for scoundrels to make money from
Nor Politicians to win elections
The armor that shields me
Makes me immortal
Saves my heart from
All the poison

Come a day brighter than any other
You’ve been stabbed by who your brother?
Tell me why is it this way?
Behaving in a fashioned shame?
You’ve got your guide
While they have none
Yet you behave like
You’re a bum
The words you recite
Are they just words?
Actions speak louder
They are what hurt
Intentions are fake
Your words they may sway
People to your way
Yet truth & deception
Are not the same to me

This is my Majestic dream
Paradise is not a scheme
Religion is my sole belief
The thing that gives me most relief
Not for scoundrels to make money from
Nor Politicians to win elections
The armor that shields me
Makes me immortal
Saves my heart from
All the poison

This my Majestic dream
Absolute honesty
No one to back stab me
Intentions clear as the sun in the sky
Friend or foe come forth show your sign
Treat me not as if I am blind

  1. Religion can only give the most power and courage if it’s what you truly and deeply believe in your heart. Reading this I felt as if I was reading lyrics to a song! 😉 Thought-provoking piece about perfection… Majestic!

  2. It is hardest to stand for what you believe when it is not popular to do so. The words are strong, the imagery stoic, and the tone defiant of those who would be condescending of the work or the viewpoint.
